Ottimo risultato per i ragazzi del Fleming
L’anno scorso la quarta e la quinta dell’istituto Fleming di Treviso hanno partecipato alla Nasa Space App Challenge, iniziativa ideata dalla stessa NASA, che ha visto partecipare 16 alunni nella classe quarta, attuale quinta.
Il gruppo composto da Bongiorno Calogero Mattia, Momentè Bincoletto Eleusi, Mottes Matteo e Polo Giovanni, denominato “Wonders of the world”, ha partecipato con un progetto dedicato al tema della salvaguardia delle api, ed è riuscito ad essere uno dei progetti selezionati per essere visionato dalla NASA nella competizione mondiale rientrando in tal modo nelle “Global Nominees”.
THE BEES – How to prevent their extinction
We decided to develop a project that, by connecting various data and satellites, manages to provide detailed information on the life and environment in which bees live. To solve this challenge we have thought of innovative system applicable to constellations of satellites that in real time can provide useful information to beekeepers and scientists. This solution we think is important because thanks to it is impossible to monitor the bees and to avoid their disappearance.
